Short Introduction
My name is Christopher Marte. I am 20 years old and in my third year in Baruch now. Majoring in Accounting and minoring in CIS. I am a full time student and a part time worker. I am currently interning at an auditing firm in midtown Manhattan and I'm excited to learn more in this field. Currently I work 20+ hours/week. Ever since I was 16 years old, I've always worked part-time while going to school full-time. I plan on going after my CPA right after I graduate.
About Me
I grew up in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, NY and lived here for all my life. I'm currently in a serious 3 year relationship. On my free time, I enjoy hanging out with friends and playing sports. Basketball is my second love in life. I also follow the NBA almost religiously and my favorite NBA team is the Knicks. I also enjoy listening to music.
A unique thing about me is my background. I am half Korean and half Dominican. I know I dont look Hispanic at all but that explains my last name. Also I dont speak either language fluently which is pathetic of me but I grew up not needing to speak either language.
I have a thing about electronics. Many times, that's where I spend my money on. Being a CIS minor, I hope to be more knowledgeable about computer software and applications. I'm always excited to learn new things, especially areas in my field of interest.
