Biography
Regis Wu, born in Brooklyn, NY; July 26, 1983, is currently a junior at Baruch College. He is pursuing a bachelors degree in Finance and Investments. Prior to his attendance at Baruch College he studied at the Kingsborough Community College. Regis is also a veteran with 5 years/ 2 months of service with the United States Navy.
Naval Service
After the events of Sept. 11 Regis volunteered his service to defend the country. He enlisted in the United States Navy on Nov. 04 2001 and was assigned to the USS Kitty Hawk CV-63 where he spent his remaining enlistment term. On January 2003, the USS Kitty Hawk was assigned a mission to provide support for ground infantry in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Regis was a Second Class Petty Officer on board the Kitty Hawk. His main duties were to inspect, trouble shoot and repair defective computer electronic systems of the F/A-18 Hornet and Super Hornet.

Post Navy
Like many veterans, Regis struggled with the transition from military lifestyle to civilian life style. But over time he was able to overcome. He decided to pursue a different career; business finance. Now, he is pursuing his degree at Baruch College with the assistance of the Montgomery GI Bill with future plans in pursuing a masters in business Finance] at the Zicklin School of Business.
