Starting off with basics, I was born in Manila, Philippines. My family and I came to Queens, New York when I was 7 years old. I attended elementary school at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, high school at Townsend Harris and college at CUNY Hunter where I joined National Service Fraternity Alpha Phi Omega. My nickname is Queso (for my love of cheese)! I came to Hunter seeking a degree in Nursing but graduating with a BA in Psychology with a minor in Studio Art. After that, I decided to job hunt for a few months; but the unsuccessful search led me to take an Accounting class at Hunter, which takes me to my current status...
I’m a full-time student at CUNY Baruch College where I am pursuing my 2nd degree, a BBA in Accounting and hopefully moving on to get a Masters in Accountancy. I hope to pursue a career in the field of Forensics Accounting. Also, I work full-time for the Finance Department of a non-profit organization.
Recently, my friends and I have launched our web-based company, City Rage, LLC. Our mission as a company is to inform city go-ers the best deals in the 5 boroughs of NYC. We've been working on it since the beginning of the year and we've definitely had a lot of fun working together.
