How to embed a youtube video in ppt presentation
From Baruchnewmedia
This 'How to' uses MS PowerPoint 2007.
Step 1. Check to see if the 'Develooper' tab is available with the other tabs. If it is not, go to PowerPoint Option, and under 'Top options for working PowerPoint,' put a check beside 'Display Developer Tab in Ribbon.'
Step 2. In the Developer's Tab in the Controls section click on the icon with a hammer crossed with another tool, which is the 'more controls' button.
Step 3. In the small window that opens, look for 'Shockwave Flash Object.' Click Ok and draw a box with the + cursor.
Step 4. Right click the box drawn in Step 3 and click Properties.
Step 5. Copy and paste the url of the youtube video to the box beside Movie.
Step 6. Remove watch? from the url and change v= to v/.
Example:
URL
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sh0LVEEat-M
Change to
http://www.youtube.com/v/sh0LVEEat-M
Step 7. Close the Properties box and view your video in the slideshow!
