It's creator, Adrian Scott, found that it was difficult to remember all of the information that he gathered while networking with others in person. Because of this, he came up with an idea where people could come together and easily share information with others to create business opportunities. He found that web-based community was the best way to create a network across geographic boundaries and thus, Ryze was born. Ryze is free to join. Upon becoming a member you are able to meet new people, establish new business opportunities, find jobs, and even makes sales. The site also emphasizes that everything isn't always about business. Ryze promotes a casual atmosphere where friends can just be friends and it enables members to keep in touch as such. Members can also create their own homepages, join and create communities, and message other members as they please. Ryze also has a paid subscription that enables advanced features. Ryze currently has over 500,000 members in more than 200 countries.
