Introduction
Net Neutrality refers to the ongoing debate about keeping the net free and equal to all individuals and business. Currently we are living in a system of net neutrality, where all users can access any part of the internet at with the same access that is available to anyone.
The Opposition of Net Neutrality
The opposition spawns from internet providers such as Comcast and AOL Time Warner. In a nutshell, these companies would like legislation to change so that they can control the flow of information at a specific price. This would create a new tier in their income as internet providers, income that has never been collected before. Providers would also be able to control the bandwidth allocations per website.
